1. Buckingham Palace

Buckingham Palace has its own tradition and routine. At 10.45 am on certain days, guard changing takes place. (also known as guard mounting) This takes approximately 45 minutes but the actual hangover part takes place at 11 am on the dot. the Buckingham is also home to HM the queen on weekdays as she is accommodated at Windsor Castle int he weekends. The guards have a very distinctive look, their uniforms composing of red tunics and a bearskin hat.
2. Trafalgar Square

Trafalgar square commemorates the battle of Trafalgar. It was a naval battle between England, France and Spain. The site has been historically marked since the 13th century and believed to contain the King's Mews. It is also home to the National portrait gallery, the National gallery, alongside the iconic Nelson's column. Also the ionic statue is not seen in this picture because it is situated very high above me, a 'Land-seer Lion' is seen surrounding the column on all four corners. It was painted in 1808 though.
3. 30 St. Mary Axe (The Gherkin)

30 St. Mary Axe, previously known as the Gherkin is a commercial skyscraper in London's primary financial district located near Liverpool Street in the City of London. Although it really isn't a public venue, you can pop in there to the restaurant and bar. Else, it can be seen from other skyscrapers neighboring it or adjacent to it.
